Triple Threat Tennis

Triple Threat Tennis is an idea I developed as President of the Eastern Shore Tennis Association based on bringing exposure to tennis and communities nationwide! TTT is also an opportunity for families to be a part of a fantastic learning experience. QUICKSTART TENNIS or more recently 10 and Under Tennis both USTA options for kids new to tennis is the fundamental concept of TTT. Next TRIPLE THREAT TENNIS is executed by volunteers [parents and interested tennis devotees] on courts donated by either cities or private clubs ! Cost for each class is $2.00 per day! Kids are arranged in groups ages 4-5, 6-8 and 8-10. Money collected each Saturday goes to snacks for the kids, equipment and promotional materials.
The pilot program in Rehoboth Beach Delaware and the interest and response by it's community has been impressive . This fall groups of kids [one day 45 !!!] have come out to play and have fun on the court. Packaging TRIPLE THREAT TENNIS is in the works and a comprehensive overview of the concept will be available for your community soon. Due to the initial overwhelming success of TTT in Rehoboth Beach we can now see that there is alternative to the popular team sports i.e. basketball, baseball, football, soccer etc. Remember unlike some sports options tennis is the sport for a lifetime and one you can do with your family almost anywhere at home or on vacation! Give tennis a try ... you'll be glad you did!
