SUMMER QUICKSTART TENNIS CAMPS - I have a really fun kids tennis, fitness, and swimming camp offered again this year in Rehoboth Beach! MGT is excited to offer two new locations! North Shores Bath & Tennis and Henlopen Acres Beach Club are both beautiful communities situated on the beach in the town of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. This is an introduction to tennis for kids ages 4-12 featuring QUICKSTART . The focus is on fun while learning the basics and fundamentals of tennis. Developed by the USTA, QUICKSTART gives children a great opportunity to have fun learning tennis immediately even if they've never held a racket before! We round out the activities exploring fitness and games and then head for a swim in the pool. Costs for the camps are based on $10.00 per hour and $30.00 for the day with camp beginning at 9:00 am and running Monday thru Friday June21st to August 20th. Individual day and week sessions are available. This is a fantastic camp I am very proud of and a great opportunity to give your child the sport of a lifetime and enrich their time spent here in the Delaware Beach Resort community.
KIDS CLINICS are offered in all locations and scheduled at BAYSIDE GOLF RESORT in Fenwick Island and SALT POND in Ocean View, Delaware. Kids clinics are usually separated by age so as to insure the best and most enjoyable experience for the student and to get the most of their time on the court. Kids clinics will utilize QUICKSTART balls and drills developed by the USTA. Kids ages 5-12 REALLY respond to this new and exciting way to play and learn tennis! Kids who have never held a racket before are running, playing and having FUN immediately using QUICKSTART tennis! ADULT CLINCS are also available at all locations and scheduled at BAYSIDE GOLF RESORT in Fenwick Island, BEAR TRAP DUNES in Ocean View and KINGS CREEK COUNTRY CLUB in Rehoboth Beach , Delaware. Cost is $20/hour for home owners/members and $25/hour for guest and visitors. Adult clinics feature play based drill sessions combining fundamentals of the game with strategy and fun competitive play for all levels. PRIVATE LESSONS - I am available for private lessons at all locations I am affiliated with here in the Delmarva region. Private lesson rates are $70.00 per hour and $40.00 per 1/2 hour. Lesson rates for non-home-owners and non-members are $5.00 higher at BAYSIDE GOLF RESORT, BEAR TRAP DUNES and KINGS CREEK COUNTRY CLUB. Private lesson rates for assistants at MARTY GODWIN TENNIS are lower and available at all locations. Contact MARTY GODWIN directly to book any private lesson session or for any information and about availability. BALL MACHINE RENTALS are available also at a cost of $30.00 per hour.
CANCELLATIONS, 24 hour advance notice is required to cancel any tennis session, clinic or private lesson. All camp registration and liabilty forms MUST be completed and returned before any child is allowed to take part in any summer tennis camp. Marty Godwin Tennis is pleased to welcome Chase Sires to the position of Assistant Pro, for the Summer Season 2010. Chase is available for tennis lessons at Bayside Golf Resort in Fenwick Island, DE, Bear Trap Dunes in Ocean View, DE, and Kings Creek Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, DE. In addition to private lessons, Chase will provide group clinics, kids camps, and much more. Chase comes to MGT from Ada, OK, where he is currently attending East Central University, and is a member of the tennis team. Chase is USPTA certified, is an experienced teacher and coach, and is thrilled to be sharing his love of the game with you! Chase is available immediately for your tennis needs.
